Notebook of Surface Stitches, Part II

Exploring stitches seems to be something the Hideaway Stitchers want to do, so we'll explore surface stitches in this Notebook class.  Organized by technique, we'll study Ribbon Embroidery stitches, Crewel Embroidery stitches and American Surface Embroidery.  This will be an ongoing class that will result in the student compiling a notebook of stitched samples.  Special emphasis will be placed on design using the stitches learned.  It is not necessary to complete Part I before Part II.

Kit will include fabric and threads, needles, stitch diagrams, and a notebook to store samples.

Student to bring scissors, hoop or Q-Snap, and magnification, if needed.
