Squares meet diamonds in this small but intriguing canvas project.  If you've never attempted counted canvas before, the project is completely graphed with extensive stitch diagrams and instructions.  If you want to stretch you stitching wings, start with a line drawn canvas and make your stitch selections from the instructions, or choose your own.  

Available in two colorways - hot colors of orange, purple and fuchsia, or cool colors of blue, green and purple, all in fun textures of Rainbow Gallery threads.  The instructions include smooth stitches like satin stitch, pavilion diamonds and Hungarian; textured stitches such as waffle, Rhodes and rice; and embellishing stitches like French knots and trellis stitch.  The project is small, just 4 1/2" square, and can be completed with focused effort in just a few hours - it's possible to complete before the retreat ends!

Kit includes instructions for counted and line drawn project, all threads, needle and canvas.

Student need to bring 2 pairs of 10" stretcher bars and tacks, plus usual stitching supplies.
