At the last two retreats, we have given you ideas/kits for making “Artists Trading Cards” (ATC). We’d like to exchange cards again, but it won’t work unless you bring some to exchange! For you new gals, ATCs are baseball card sized cards (2 ˝” x 3 ˝”) with needlework or beading on them. They can be any design you like, any medium you like, but must be the correct size. I have put mine in a notebook, tucked away in the baseball card pages. Here are a couple of websites that talk about ATCs:
Here are some examples (click picture to make larger):
These are the ones that were exchanged in the Fall of 2008.
This is how I keep my traded cards - in Baseball Card sleeves in a Notebook. On the backs of the cards, we are writing our name, date & e-mail address. Lots of fun! - Cards are from - (Top row) Pat Starks, Bonnie Colquette, Tonya Mulhall, (Second row) Marjie Crum, Tamra Lawson & the two blue ones are mine to be passed out at the Spring 2009 retreat!
These are the ones that I have designed and stitched.
These are the ones that I stitched - kits were from Pat Dugan, Linda Fitts & Debbie Rowley, respectively.
